Features

  • The account can only be opened in Turkish Lira with a 1-day maturity.
  • 1 account can be opened for each customer.
  • While the minimum account opening balance is TRY 50.000, there is no upper limit.
  • You can freely use the entire balance in the account during the day between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
  • The amount not to accrue interest, as set out in the table, shall be available in the account between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, and interest shall automatically accrue on the balance above this amount. If you would like to utilize an amount above the available balance between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, the transaction can only be realized by closing the account.
  • Value-date practice is not applicable to the Daily Earning Account. However, in order for the amounts deposited into the account to earn interest on the same day, deposits must be made by 5:00 PM at the latest. Amounts deposited into the account after 5:00 PM will not be taken into account in the interest calculation for that day, and withdrawals made from the account after 5:00 PM will be excluded from the interest calculation for that day. Accordingly, the lowest balance as of 5:00 PM and thereafter will be taken as basis in determining the amount to accrue interest for that day.

Pursuant to the provisions of the “Regulation on Premiums to be Collected by the Deposit Insurance Fund for Insured Deposits and Participation Funds and Savings Deposits”; The principal amounts of Turkish Lira, foreign currency, and precious metal deposit accounts held in domestic branches of a credit institution operating in Türkiye, excluding those belonging to public institutions, credit institutions, and financial institutions, along with the total interest discounts related to these accounts, are covered by insurance up to 1.200.000 Turkish Liras.
