An affiliate policy built on the foundations of efficiency
Within the framework of its subsidiary policy built on the foundations of efficiency, Ziraat Bank has created a subsidiary portfolio offering a competitive advantage in the national and international arena. The bank provides services both locally and globally through its domestic subsidiaries operating in various areas of the Turkish financial sector, as well as through its overseas subsidiaries.
In this context, the Bank aims;
To create a dynamic and effective synergy between its domestic subsidiaries, which are complementary to its financial activities, and its overseas subsidiaries spread over a wide geography, within the framework of Ziraat Finance Group’s vision,
To contribute to the development of commercial and economic relations between Türkiye and the other countries in which it operates, to play a strong role in the financing of foreign trade, and to capture a high share in this area thanks to its wide overseas subsidiary network,
To provide a variety of products and services at a global level, as well as time and cost advantages, thanks to effective communication and fast business processes by contributing financially to the transaction flows of its customers around the world,
To introduce new/pioneering financial technologies to the regions where it operates.
Established to operate in the field of digital banking, Ziraat Dinamik Banka A.Ş. received an operating license with the decision of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Board dated 31.10.2024 and numbered 10980.
Ziraat Finansal Teknolojiler Elektronik Para ve Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. (ZiraatPay), which was established to operate in the field of electronic money and payment services, received an operating license with the decision of the CBRT dated 22.12.2023 and numbered 11566/21165 published in the Official Gazette dated 30.01.2024 and started its operations in 2024.
As of year-end 2024, Ziraat Bank offers services in 19 countries and 125 locations with subsidiary banks in 9 countries, overseas branches in 8 countries, and representative offices in 2 countries.
Overseas Subsidiaries
Germany
Ziraat Bank International AG started its operations as a representative office in 1964 and became a branch in 1988. Since 2001, it has been operating as a bank. Ziraat Bank International AG, which has 7 branches in Berlin, Duisburg, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Cologne and Munich, offers all kinds of banking services to its customers.
Bosnia and Herzegovina
ZiraatBank BH d.d., which started to operate in 1997, is the first bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina with wholly foreign capital. With 1 Head Office building, 18 branches and 17 offices, ZiraatBank BH d.d. is Ziraat Finance Group’s bank with the highest number of locations abroad and provides a wide range of banking services to its customers.
Montenegro
Ziraat Bank Montenegro AD started its operations in July 2015. The Bank continues its services with its Head Office in Podgorica and branches in Podgorica, Bar and Budva.
Russia
Ziraat Bank (Moscow) JSC, founded in 1993, has its headquarters and only branch in Moscow.
Azerbaijan
Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan ASC, which started its operations in 2015, continues to provide services with its Head Office in Baku and branches in Central, Icheri Sheher, Ganja, Sumgayit, Ahmed Recepli, Azadlık, Samed Vurgun, Babek, and Sederek, which opened in 2024. In addition to its wide product range for corporate and individual segments, the Bank continues to play an active role in the development of trade between the two countries.
Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan Ziraat International Bank (KZI Bank), established in 1993 and headquartered in Almaty; It continues to serve its customers with a total of 8 branches, two in Almaty and one in Astana, Shymkent, Aktau, Atirau, Karaganda and Turkistan.
Uzbekistan
UTBANK JSC, Uzbekistan’s first bank with foreign capital, was established in 1993 in Tashkent, with the equal participation of Ziraat Bank and Agrobank (Uzbekistan). In 2017, all of Agrobank’s shares in the Bank were transferred to Ziraat Bank, and 100% of UTBANK JSC’s shares were registered in the name of Ziraat. The Bank continues its activities under the name of “Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan JSC” and with 7 branches: Corporate Branch/Tashkent, Operu, Yunusabad, Samarkand, Fergana, Andican, and Bukhara.
Georgia
In Georgia, where Ziraat Bank started to provide services in 1998, the banking activities carried out with branches in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Marneuli were combined under the umbrella of the bank as of May 2, 2017, and JSC Ziraat Bank Georgia was established.
JSC Ziraat Bank Georgia continues to provide services through 7 branches in Tbilisi, Batumi, Marneuli, Tsereteli, Kutaisi, Gldani, and Varketili.
Turkmenistan
Turkmen Turkish JSC Bank was established as a Turkish and Turkmen partnership. The head office of the bank is in Ashgabat and has offices in Bereketli, Dashoguz, Kerki, Mary, Ashgabat, Turkmenabad, and Balkanabad.

Ziraat Katılım Bankası A.Ş.
Commencing its participation operations on May 29, 2015, with the guiding principle of “Achieving More by Sharing,” Ziraat Katılım is the first publicly owned participation bank in Türkiye. The Bank operates by focusing on participation banking principles and ethical values, offering innovative financial solutions, and facilitating access for its customers. With its experienced and dynamic workforce, widespread branch network, and advanced alternative distribution channels, the Bank provides services to meet the requirements of its customers.
Providing services with 2,890 employees specialized in their fields, Ziraat Katılım reached a total of 210 branches by the end of 2024, with 208 branches in Türkiye and 2 branches abroad. Ziraat Katılım, which opened its first international branch in Sudan in September 2020, opened its second branch abroad in Mogadishu, Somalia, on 29 October 2023, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye. Headquartered in the Ziraat Towers of the Istanbul Finance Center (IFC), Ziraat Katılım has been providing quality services and products to its customers in the fields of retail, commercial, and private banking since the commencement of its operations. The Bank also provides high-value-added solutions to its customers through the internet and mobile banking channels.
Ziraat Katılım aims to increase its position and competitiveness in the sector and generate more shareable value for all stakeholders through sustainability practices while supporting economic development. Acting with the awareness that the financial products and services it offers in line with the principles of participation banking have an impact on the environment and society, Ziraat Katılım carries out the correct and effective management of environmental and social risks in its activities. As a stakeholder in the fight against the global climate crisis, Ziraat Katılım’s goal is to spread, cultivate, and maintain sustainability throughout the value chain. Ziraat Katılım’s sustainability strategy is to support investments that will ensure sustainable development consistent with Türkiye’s national goals in accordance with the 2053 Net Zero Goal and the Green Deal Action Plan. Ziraat Katılım also has a “Sustainability Policy” and other related policies that define its approach in this area.
Ziraat Katılım’s endeavors were recognized in the Participation Banks category at the Data Analytics Awards, where the performance of brands on social media is evaluated according to the results of the Social Brands brand index prepared based on impartial data and data analysis. The Bank received the “Most Effective Participation Bank in Social Media” award in 2024, as it did in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Ziraat Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.
Ziraat Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. (Ziraat Asset Management) was established in 2002 and received the authority to establish funds in 2015 with the amendment made in the Capital Market Law.
As of December 31, 2024, Ziraat Asset Management manages 86 Mutual Funds, 12 Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), 4 Real Estate Investment Funds, 6 Venture Capital Investment Funds, and 47 Pension Investment Funds established by pension companies. In addition, Ziraat Asset Management offers portfolio management services to individual and institutional investors.
As of 31 December 2024, Ziraat Asset Management’s total portfolio was recorded as TL 1.2 trillion, consisting of TL 712.7 billion in mutual funds and TL 516.2 billion in individual/corporate investors’ portfolios. Ziraat Asset Management maintains its leadership in the sector with its 17.13% market share as of October 2024.
For its activities in 2023, Ziraat Asset Management was awarded the “Leader in Pension Mutual Funds Portfolio Size,” “Leader in Participation Pension Mutual Funds Portfolio Size,” “Leader in Individual Asset Management Size,” and “Second Place in Mutual Funds Portfolio Size” awards by the Turkish Capital Market Association in 2024.
Ziraat Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş.
Ziraat Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. (Ziraat Investment), which was established in 1997 to act as an intermediary in capital market transactions, has the status of “Broadly Authorized Intermediary Institution” and is one of the major players in the Turkish Capital Market with over 3 million customers.
Having been able to serve Ziraat Bank customers since its establishment within the scope of the order transmission agreement, Ziraat Investment completed full integration with Ziraat Katılım Bank in 2024, becoming privileged to reach all of Türkiye through both banks.
In 2024, as in previous years, Ziraat Investment closely followed the technological developments in the sector and prioritized mobile services, increasing the efficiency of its workforce and providing investors with more effective and faster service.
Between 2012 and 2024, Ziraat Investment provided approximately TL 385 billion in funding to companies and financial institutions through debt instruments and sukuk issuances as part of its advisory and brokerage services. Thus, while providing institutions with diversified funding opportunities, it also contributes directly to the national economy. Thanks to its central role in this field, Ziraat Yatırım has been entitled many times to receive the sector leader award based on issuances presented by the Turkish Capital Markets Association.
In 2024, Ziraat Yatırım acted as a leader/co-leader in 3 IPOs and participated in 21 consortia as a member, adding value to the sector with new instruments.
For its activities in 2023, Ziraat Investment was awarded the second prize in the “Sukuk Issuance Intermediation” category and the second prize in the “Mutual Funds Portfolio Size” category by the Turkish Capital Market Association in 2024.
Ziraat Yatırım aims to continue its activities in line with its basic strategy of sustainable growth and profitability by increasing its transaction volume in all areas, primarily through equity market transactions and equity public offerings, issuances such as private sector debt instruments, and lease certificates, as well as secondary market transactions with the synergy of Ziraat Finance Group, in addition to strengthening its digital sales channels through marketing activities.
Ziraat Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş.
With the aim of being one of the leading companies in the sector with innovative projects that will accelerate the development of the Turkish real estate sector and create added value for the economy of the country, to achieve stable balance sheet growth by developing unique projects which offer high investment value, to carry out projects that will provide the highest return to its shareholders with a management approach based on corporate values, Ziraat Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. (Ziraat REIT) was established on 1 November 2016. The Company commenced trading on Borsa Istanbul on May 6, 2021.
The construction of the Istanbul Finance Center (IFC) Ziraat Towers Project, which started in May 2018, has been completed. The Project is the most important investment of Ziraat REIT and has a total construction area of 431,000 m2, consisting of 2 blocks of 46 and 40 floors and an 8-storey podium. Firstly, after the opening of the banks phase of the Istanbul Finance Center with a ceremony held on April 17, 2023, Ziraat REIT and Ziraat Bank units moved to Ziraat Tower-1 in May of the same year, and life in the Istanbul Finance Center began. In the early months of 2024, Tower-2 became operational following the phased relocation of Ziraat Bank’s other subsidiaries, primarily Ziraat Katılım.
Ziraat Towers is the first and only green building within the Istanbul Finance Center campus to receive the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) “Platinum” Certificate, a green building rating system used worldwide.
With its outstanding performance in architectural design and construction excellence, innovation and sustainability, the IFC Ziraat Towers Project received the “Excellence in Construction” award within the scope of the 2023 Excellence Award Program of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), a global non-profit organization endeavoring to create more sustainable, healthy cities and the “Best Construction Project” award at the Autodesk Design & Make Awards 2024, which recognizes the best projects in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction, product design and manufacturing, media and entertainment, and education internationally.
Ziraat REIT was awarded the second prize in the “Real Estate Investment Trust Market Value” category by the Turkish Capital Market Association in 2024.
Ziraat REIT continues to grow as the leading brand of the real estate sector and generate added value for Türkiye by continuously carrying out modern and innovative projects that prioritize environmental and social values thanks to its stable rental income from its balanced and diversified portfolio in Türkiye and abroad, as well as its strong shareholders’ equity and financial structure.
Ziraat Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş.
Established on November 8, 2018, Ziraat GSYO (Venture Capital) acquires equity stakes in ventures which offer growth potential, provides the leverage and growth which they need, and works to help them achieve sector-based strengthening within the framework of a corporate and strategic plan.
Ziraat Teknoloji A.Ş.
Since inception in 2001, Ziraat Technology has been providing services to Ziraat Bank and its domestic/overseas subsidiaries in the fields of application development, systems management, project management and technology consultancy.
Ziraat Teknoloji continues its activities in the Technology Development Zones (Teknopark) of Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus, Istanbul Finance Center, and Ankara Varlık location.
It plays an important role in the projects carried out by the Ziraat Finance Group with the software and applications which it has developed in line with the requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management, 22301 Business Continuity and 27001 Information Security standards, and has become a global solution partner.
In 2024, approximately 20% (2,000,000 kWh) energy savings were achieved thanks to the Free Cooling operating mode (the system activated when the outside air temperature drops below 21°C) specific to the air handling units preferred in cooling systems at Ziraat Technology’s Esenyurt Data Center.
Ziraat Dinamik Banka A.Ş.
Ziraat Dinamik Banka A.Ş. (Ziraat Dinamik) was established on 18.04.2023 to operate in the field of digital banking and received an operating license with the decision of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency dated 31.10.2024 and numbered 10980. Ziraat Dinamik Banka is the first digital bank established under the ownership of a financial group, as well as the first digital bank established with public capital.
Ziraat Dinamik Banka, one of Ziraat Finance Group’s most valuable future-oriented strategic investments, aims to offer unique and innovative products to its customers in line with local and international banking norms as a bank continuously developing and renewed with analytical and technological investments, and observing the continuity and sustainability of its operations.
Ziraat Dinamik Banka, which will start accepting customers as of 2025 with the motto “Fast, Digital, Practical,” aims to become the leading bank in the field of digital banking with the strength of the “Ziraat” brand, to contribute to the development of digital banking in Türkiye, and to further advance the potential of digital banking.
Ziraat Finansal Teknolojiler Elektronik Para ve Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş.
Ziraat Finansal Teknolojiler Elektronik Para ve Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. (ZiraatPay) was established on 23.08.2022 to operate in the field of e-money and payment services. The Company obtained an operating license with the decision of the CBRT dated 22.12.2023 and numbered 11566/21165 published in the Official Gazette dated 30.01.2024 and started its operations in 2024.
On the Electronic Money side, the ZiraatPay digital wallet addresses the challenges of carrying cash by offering customers a variety of fast and secure financial transactions. These services include bill payments, money transfers, shopping, QR code transactions, expense splitting, money requests, and a shared wallet feature.
On the payment services front, ZiraatPay provides virtual payment solutions through POS products, enabling commercial customers to access all bank POS with a single contract.
